The GMAT Entrance Exam Guide

The GMAT is a standardized test that is used as an admissions requirement by most business schools. The GMAT measures Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, and Analytical Writing skills. The test is administered in English and takes approximately four hours to complete.

The Verbal section of the GMAT assesses reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction skills. The Quantitative section assesses problem-solving and data sufficiency skills. The Integrated Reasoning section assesses your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions from it. The Analytical Writing section assesses your ability to write coherently and persuasively.

You will be given a score on each section of the GMAT, as well as an overall score. The score on each section ranges from 0 to 60, with 60 being the highest possible score. The overall score ranges from 200 to 800, with 800 being the highest possible score.

The GMAT is a computer-adaptive test, which means that the difficulty level of the questions you are asked will be based on your performance on previous questions. This means that it is important to answer each question as accurately and quickly as possible, as guessing or taking too long to answer a question can lower your score.
